Geographic Small Group Ministry

If you’ve been in church before, you’ve heard of lots of different small groups: Growth groups, LIFE groups, Bible study groups, and plenty of age-based gatherings of Christians. These are an important part of church life.

But, a group formed on where you live is different and special! It is based solely on individual members’ proximity to each other.  This is what Anchor Groups are intended to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Christians who limit God’s command for fellowship with one another merely to what takes place on Sundays miss what Jesus had in mind when he calls us to follow Him.

This is why the early church met “in one another’s homes,” and were “daily” encouraging one another in daily life (Acts 2:42-47).

  • Groups will meet 2x a month with about six households or a dozen adult participants in homes for fellowship and a study. A meal might be shared together as well.

  • Children are an important part of our church! Each group will decide what’s best for its own group based on the families needs.
